The Decatur Project

In partnership with the Illinois Harness Horsemen’s Association, Revolutionary Racing Illinois is looking to invest $150M in Decatur with the purchase of up to 219 acres.
This investment would create a world-class standardbred racetrack including an adjacent gaming facility, along with a sports and recreation complex, with additional growth opportunities for retail, dining and lodging. In addition to developing a world-class entertainment destination, it will bring more than 300 full-time jobs on top of the 100% union labor planned to hire throughout construction generating $27 million in tax revenues.
